The I-75 PD&E study began in spring 2008. The development and evaluation of the widening alternatives are underway. An alternatives public workshop was held on June 15 and 17, 2009, and a public hearing is tentatively scheduled for December of 2009. The PD&E study is anticipated to be complete in the winter of 2009/2010.

This newsletter and alternatives public workshop showed the various alternative design concepts for I-75 and asked for public input.

Public Hearing | December 2009
The public hearing is a formal meeting at which comments on the findings of the study, including its proposed alignment and design concept, are entered into the public record.

Location / Design Concept Acceptance | Winter 2009 / 2010
Once all comments made in conjunction with the public hearing are analyzed and, if appropriate, incorporated into the study, the study documents are completed and forwarded to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for its official Location and Design Concept Acceptance of the recommended alternative.
