Stakeholders in each of the communities who are involved in this process play an important role in the project development and decision-making process of this study. There are multiple ways to get involved\u2014call, write, or email us \u2013 see the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fdotd7studies.com\/US19FrontageRoads\/contact-information\/\">Contact Information<\/a>\u00a0page for further details. There will also be a number of opportunities to participate in person, including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\">\n<li><strong>Stakeholder Interviews <\/strong>\u2013 The project team will conduct one-on-one stakeholder interviews to identify and document the local stakeholders\u2019 visions for the Corridor. This initial outreach will seek to gather input on the future vision for the corridor, its users, and the role the facility should play in the transportation network. These interviews are scheduled to happen in November 2019.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Business\/Property Owner Focus Group Meetings <\/strong>\u2013 The project team will facilitate focus group meetings with business and property owners along the corridor. The meetings will be open to all Corridor business\/property owners and specific representation will be sought from areawide groups, neighborhood representatives and relevant property owner representatives such as the Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Councils, and the Countryside Mall. These groups will serve as an additional sounding board to the project team to help disseminate information to the larger corridor community and seek input on preliminary ideas. These meetings are scheduled to happen in the spring of 2020.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jurisdiction Workshops <\/strong>\u2013 After the Purpose and Need Development and prior to the identification of alternatives, the project team will host visioning workshops with each of the four municipalities<strong>. <\/strong>During these interactive sessions the project team will collect input of the unique needs of each place, including any existing challenges with land development regulations. The project team will work collaboratively with each group to identify opportunity sites to be used for more detailed analysis throughout the Study and develop initial alternatives. Please\u00a0visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fdotd7studies.com\/US19FrontageRoads\/send-us-your-comments\/\">Send Us Your Comments page<\/a>\u00a0to request an update on this project.<\/p>\n<h2>Public Advisory Group<\/h2>\n<p>The project team will work with partner agencies to establish a Project Advisory Group (PAG), which includes staff members from the jurisdictions with an interest in the corridor. The PAG will meet at key points throughout the study to collaborate with the project team to ensure that the corridor analysis and alternatives are well-coordinated with local planning efforts and community goals. The project team will facilitate five PAG meetings throughout the life of the planning study.<\/p>\n<p>PAG members include representatives from the following organizations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forward Pinellas<\/li>\n<li>Pinellas County<\/li>\n<li>Pinellas County Safety &amp; Emergency Services<\/li>\n<li>City of Pinellas Park<\/li>\n<li>City of Largo<\/li>\n<li>City of Clearwater<\/li>\n<li>City of Dunedin<\/li>\n<li>PSTA<\/li>\n<li>Florida Highway Patrol<\/li>\n<li>FDOT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first PAG meeting was held on September 19<sup>th<\/sup> at 2:00 pm at the <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/wF5bF6PWYuLZSk9p9\">Clearwater East Community Library (2465 Drew St, Clearwater, FL 33765).<\/a> Presentation materials are posted under <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fdotd7studies.com\/US19FrontageRoads\/project-documents\/\">Project Documents<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We invite you to get involved!
