Drew Street provides an important connection to Downtown Clearwater to the west and to US 19 to the east and runs parallel to State Road 60 (SR 60).<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 30px 0;\">\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdotd7studies.com\/projects\/drewstreet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/02\/project-location-map-large.jpg\" rel=\"fancybox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-901\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fdotd7studies.com\/projects\/drewstreet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/02\/project-location-map.jpg\" alt=\"Project Location Map\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color: #fff; padding: 10px 15px; text-align: center; font-style: italic;\">click image to view map<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This project was coordinated with Pinellas County, the City of Clearwater, Forward Pinellas Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) to develop potential solutions that establish a safer multimodal environment utilizing a context-sensitive approach. This study built upon a community-based Drew Street Concept Plan, completed in September 2018 to evaluate the recommendations from the study, identify additional alternatives, and ultimately provide an engineering analysis of impacts and design considerations of the preferred concepts.
