Public Involvement

Involving and engaging the public throughout this evaluation process is vital to its success. The Howard Frankland Bridge (I-275/SR 93) PD&E and Transit Corridor Evaluation Study will provide many opportunities for the public to comment on the proposed improvements, including public meetings, small group meetings, and this project website (https://www.fdotd7studies.com/projects/hfbs/). Project information and documents will be uploaded to the project website as they become available.

Past Meetings

  • Public Hearing – The Public Hearing for the Howard Frankland Bridge (I-275/SR 93) PD&E Study and Regional Transit Corridor Evaluation was held on November 14th, 2017 at the Tampa Marriott Westshore and on November 16th, 2017 at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park. Click here for more information about the meetings.
  • Public Hearing – A public hearing was held on October 8, 2013 and October 10, 2013.
  • Agency Stakeholder Meetings – On May 7, 2013 and May 9, 2013, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) hosted two agency stakeholder meetings.
