The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) conducted a public hearing regarding the State Road 50 (US 98\/Cortez Boulevard) Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The public hearing was held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019<\/strong> at the Brooksville Wesleyan Church, 22319 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34601. The public hearing began as an open house at 5:30 p.m., with a formal presentation at 6:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period.<\/p>\n

This public hearing was conducted to present information and receive public input regarding the proposed improvement to SR 50. The information regarding the study was on display for review at the public hearing.<\/p>\n

Project materials including maps and project reports were available for review and FDOT representatives were also present to answer questions prior to and following the formal portion at the hearing. Interested parties may submit written comments at a later date to: Kirk Bogen, P.E., Environmental Management Engineer, FDOT District Seven, 11201 N. McKinley Drive, MS 7-500, Tampa, FL 33612.<\/strong> Written comments were accepted throughout the PD&E study, and had to be received by December 23, 2019<\/strong> to be included in the public hearing record.<\/p>\n
