This study is now coomplete and the study team gathered input from citizens and agencies within the project area. Public involvement activities continued throughout the duration of the project.<\/p>\n<p>Several editions of the project newsletter were planned. The mailing list included the following groups:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All individuals owning property within at least 300 feet of the right-of-way of the proposed project;<\/li>\n<li>Neighborhood and civic associations in the study area;<\/li>\n<li>Local elected and appointed officials;<\/li>\n<li>Local, regional, and state agencies and interest groups; and,<\/li>\n<li>Individuals who request to be placed on the mailing list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdotd7studies.com\/projects\/sr600-i4-to-county-line\/public-involvement\/newsletters\/\">project newsletters<\/a> informed the public of the status of alternatives development and the planned public meetings. The public information meetings included presentations given before the MPO and informal \u201csmall group\u201d meetings with local civic organizations, public officials, and public agencies. Meetings provided information on the project status, design concepts, and opportunity for those who have an interest in the proposed project to comment on the study\u2019s findings.<\/p>\n<h2>Non-Discrimination Laws and Regulations<\/h2>\n<p>Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
