Public involvement is one of the most important elements of a PD&E study.
A public hearing was held for this project on February 20, 2024, in person at the Riverview Public Library, located at 9951 Balm Riverview Road, Riverview, FL 33569 and included an option to attend virtually online.
Project newsletters are mailed to all property owners within the study area as well as elected/appointed public officials at key points in the study. The mailing list includes (at a minimum):
- All property owners located within 500 feet of Gibsonton Drive’s centerline
- Neighborhood and civic associations
- Local elected and appointed public officials
- Local, regional, and state agencies
- Anyone requesting to be included on the mailing list
