2nd Public Hearing (January 27, 2022)

The Project Development & Environment Study process provides opportunities for the public to view information about the project and to comment on the proposed improvements. Public involvement activities will continue throughout the duration of the project. Project information and documents are uploaded to the project website for review when they become available. A public hearing was offered in person with an option to attend virtually.

Virtual Public Hearing Session Registration

Citizens who chose to attend the virtual hearing session did so through a computer, tablet or smartphone via GoTo Webinar. Virtual attendees registered online.

What’s New?

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has conducted two Project Development and Environment (PD&E) studies that are considering improvement options on Interstate 75 (I-75) (State Road 93A) in Manatee and Hillsborough Counties.

Project Schedule

The I-75 PD&E studies began in spring 2008. The development and evaluation of the widening alternatives was completed in the summer of 2010. The FDOT held the I-75 alternatives public workshops on June 15, 2009 and June 17, 2009, and a 1st public hearing was held on Thursday, May 6, 2010. A second public hearing took place on January 27, 2022.
