Public Hearing

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) held a public hearing regarding The Good Neighbor Trail Gap Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study.

The public hearing was held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Jerome Brown Community Center, 99 Jerome Brown Place, Brooksville, Florida 34601. The public hearing began as an open house at 5:30 p.m., with a formal presentation at 6:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period.

This public hearing was conducted to present information and receive public input regarding the proposed trail. The information regarding the study was on display for review at the public hearing.

Project materials including maps and project reports were available for review and FDOT representatives were present to answer questions prior to and following the formal portion at the hearing. Interested parties may submit written comments at a later date to: Kirk Bogen, PE, Environmental Management Engineer, FDOT District Seven, 11201 N. McKinley Drive, MS 7-500, Tampa, FL 33612-6456. Written comments were accepted throughout the PD&E study, but comments received before March 25, 2019 were included in the public hearing record.
